It's a girl!!!

...Okay, It's not me having a baby girl, but my sweet lil' sister!!! I am so excited!!! I could not wait for her baby shower! so I made a bunch of fun stuff! wanna see???

...Okay, I'll share!!! :)

{Party Favors}
these are bookmarks I made with a poem I found on a website. I also wrote a lil' prayer on the bottom

{a stork's bundle}
on the inside is a few gifts I bought for my sweet niece, it is wrapped with 2 receiving blankets and tied with a brown ribbon. The stork is cut @ 5 inches from the sugar and spice cricut cart and popped up on a 6 1/2 in circle. I used a pink pearled brad for the eye and tied a lil' brown ribbon on her bundle to match the gift wrapping.

{A Personalized composition notebook}
I regret not taking a picture of the notebook I made for her! It is one of my favs!!! You can see some of the others {HERE} I cut the "s" from the "once upon a princess" cricut cart.

{Jumbo paper clip bookmark}
I am soooo excited about these!!! I love making these bookmarks! I could not wait to get {this punch} from stamping up so I could make these cute holders!!!

{Sweet birdy Diaper cake}
I love love love this diaper cake!!! It was so much fun to make!!! I think it's because the cute lil' birdy rattles I got from BabiesRus! oh... and cute roses I made from washcloths. The topper scallop is made from the "sugar and spice" cart, the bird is from "live simply" cart.

Thanks for looking!!!

Be blessed! <3>

Look what I got!!!

My very own Cricut expression!!! YEA!

My sweet SIL/BFF has let me borrow/have her baby bug... and I have appreciated it soooooooo much, but I needed an expression to fill the whole in my heart! HA! I am exaggerating, but I did really want one. It cuts so nice and I can do a lil' bit more with it.

I did a lil research during my foot surgery recovery and found a great deal at Walmart... I just needed to wait until I started working again before I could purchase it! The very night I started back to work, I bid on a very similar bundle on ebay and actually won it!!!

This is the bundle I got from ebay! all this for...

$260!!! YEA!

the bundle from Walmart was $256 it came with all the same things... except it only came with 2 carts instead of 6. oh, this also came with 12x12 cutting mat... not pictured.

I am so happy with it!!! I love love love my expression!

Yea!

Crafting the days away

Since I've had surgery on June 7th... I've had lots of time to craft the days away!

Here are some things that I've done... I hope you enjoy!

Thank you's for all my sweet friends who made me and my family dinners while I was recovering... THANKS sweet friends!!!

(I also submitted this for a design team position at {my pink stamper} didn't get it... but that is fine! The opportunity really pushed my creativity! so I am grateful for that!!!)

The flower on the left is actually a magnet that can be removed from the sticker below it. I used {THIS} tutorial to make it.

Last year for Christmas, I really got into making compostion notebooks. I really love making them and usually make them for gifts. was thinking about selling them, but not sure... Here is a few I made recently...

My Pink Stamper color challenge

Over at My Pink Stamper, Robyn is having a color challenge. The Challange is to use pink, green, orange, and brown...

Here is what I came up with

Recipe:
~Chocolate brown card stock from papertrey Ink
~various scraps of paper to match paper from paper pack from Wally world
~the flower's are cut from live simply lite cart and the circle from good ol' george
~thank you is stamped in chocolate brown with My pink stamper's friend and family stamps

I think it is very simple and plain... but I really really like it!!! I am getting much quicker at making cards and I am really enjoying it.

Happy Birthday Bestie

My Bestie happens to be my SIL!!! How lucky am I!!!

We met back in 1994 when I became a Christian and started to go to church. She has always been way cool!!! :) In 1997 she married my Hubby's brother and we became family, so she's WAY cool now!!! ;) We started to be really close the summer of 2000 ( I think that's when it was) when my hubby and I went to visit her and his bro at college. After 9/11 I lost my job and we began to talk on the phone almost everyday! ...so here we are a {million} years later, we still talk almost everyday. Her and her fam are AWESOME.

Happy Birthday Jen!!!

I made the card using my new cricut lite cart, live simply {it ROCKS!!!} my new "happy birthday" cuttlebug embossing folder, and a bunch of new paper and ribbon I bought from {PAPERTREY INC}.

Thanks for looking!!!

Blessings!!!

Jennifer is the bright one on the left! heehee... don't you love our mess!?! this is only part of it... the rest is on the floor and on the ironing board. {Messy... just like we like it!!!}

Here are the fun shirts I've made over the last few weeks.

Hope you like them and learn something new!!! We just can't stop making them so check back soon to see more!!!

Father's day was a blast!!!

Hey there everyone! I hope you all had a great Father's day!

We really enjoyed ourselves! I usually work every weekend, but needed to have foot surgery... so I am taking 6 weeks off to recover. what a blessing it has been. I have been able to go to church... WOW!!! I loved loved loved yesterdays service! I never ever get mother's day or father's day off so that was so awesome too!!! We had a great day! After church we went to My hubby's favorite resteraunt... which happens to be all of our fav! then we came home and took a great Sunday nap!

We also crafted a lil' bit... well not my hubby, but me and the kiddo's did! I love love love the gift we made Him for Father's day!!! It is not what I planned, but I LOVE how it came together.

My hubby loves to write and goes thru comp notebooks quite often... so we decided to decorate one for him. Every year, I try to make a card or craft with the kids hands on it, so we can keep record of how there hands grow... well this year, I couldn't get there hand, and a pic of them to fit... :( there growing tooooooo fast!!! ;) after brainstorming and moving things around... I had the idea to take the hands and make a heart! Isn't it AWESOME!!! we think so! My hubby even likes it... which is awesome, because he's not really that interested in my "craft-ability" heehee!

I used just a plain black composition notebook... (there are some really cute ones out there now that actually have different colored binding... so you can buy to match your theme. keep in mind their usually a couple $'s as opposed to the plain black ones which are usually less then a $). most of the paper I used is way old and I have no idea where it is from, but the red is brand new... It is from papertrey ink. I cut out "daddy" using the calligraphy collection cricut cart and the heart is cut out of george basic shapes cricut cart (but I had to cut it down to fit in there hands). When it was all glued down I painted it with 3 coats of modge podge... (this pic was taken before I modge podged it. :) oh and I used my brand new pink stamper stamps... I think this set is called friends and family... I used "father" and "you rock")

We are also surprised our kids with the knowledge that we are going on vaca to the mountains in July! we are all so excited but the kids think we are going today... hahaha! so I borrowed this idea from my BFF and made a paper chain picture... so everyday, we can pull a link off... then we know how many days there are left.

My daughter, who is 5 helped me... she is very creative!!! She picked all the colors for both the picture and the links. I LOVE the pink mountain!!! she cut out the grass and mountain using some edging sissors I have... and what a cute idea she had to use cotton balls for the clouds instead of boring white paper. I wanted to use the cricut and cut out "vacation" and the date... but crayons were the instrument chosen by my 3 yr old who wanted to help when we were almost done. (like daddy, like son! ;)

How fun is this! 1st thing this morning... instead of getting snuggle time, I got come on momma... let's go downstairs and rip the chain. I LOVE IT!

Also, I am working on another devotional... God is totally dealing with me about believing and trusting his promises. hopefully I'll have it up soon. check out my other devotionals if you like... and let me know what you think.

Thanks sooooooooo much for visiting my blog!

Collage Frame...

Emma at "My Creative time with Emma" is having her "Throwback Thursday Challenge". Every Thursday she uses an old cricut cart and makes something AWESOME!!! she makes the cutest things!!! you have to check out her website!

The challenge for this week was to make a 3D item or altered item using an older cricut cart.... which is perfect for me because that's all I have lol!!! Anyway, I wanted to make collage frame or shadow box for my brother... so I am going to enter it in her challenge.

My Dad passed away in 2002 and he was a United States Navy veteran and my Brother got his flag in a pretty display case. After my Grandma died last July we got a huge box of our dad's stuff to go thru. It was so neat to see all his "old" navy pics and stuff. I immediately got the idea I wanted to do something for my brother so he could have some of the things hanging next to his Flag.

So here is what I came up with...

I used some awesome patriotic paper from Michael's, Calligraphy collection cricut cart, and some Navy stickers I found at Michael's as well.

I really hope my brother likes it!

Thanks for looking!!!
